Job Context & Major Challenges
The major challenges of the position are as follows:
a. Build high performing sales team consisting of Sales officers and Market Development Officers.
b. Build complete network of distributor and retailers.
c. Persuading farmers retailers to use the product and increasing its adoption to achieve product area treated on select key crops.
d. Conceptualizing a targeted customer contact and promotional campaign leading field sales team
e. In-field working with field team to ensure implementation of campaign, monitoring daily sales progress
f. Motivating channel partners to get them involved in placing the product to expand reach
g. Track retailer-level and farmer level stocks liquidation
h. Get involved fully in key activities to achieve sales and collection targets
i. Identify new crops/areas where product can be effectively promoted
j. Design Product schemes in accordance with the value proposition

In-depth understanding of AP and Telangana Crop markets.
Flair for Sales role and extensive travelling across geography.
Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into data-based actions decisions.
Bachelors degree in science / Agriculture, business administration, masters degree preferred
Five to seven years previous work experience in front line sales roles and line management in Agri input particularly Agrochemicals or Plant Health products preferred. Preferred age below 40 yrs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Telugu and English; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
Proven results of delivering meeting sales and collection goals.
Education:
UG: B.Sc - Any Specialization, Agriculture
PG: MBA/PGDM - Marketing, MS/M.Sc(Science) - Any Specialization, Agriculture
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
