Summary
SAP Business ByDesign team is looking for a passionate, highly motivated, and experienced Architect to join our team working on Business ByDesign and a new SME solution.The high performance and fast paced environment is assured to provide rich opportunities for learning and growing. As an Architect you will be working in a cross-functional team of talented, supportive, and motivated colleagues, following agile methodologies and industry best practices, working with stakeholders globally, across time zones, geographies, and cultures.
The Role
In your role you will have responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Ramp up quickly on the technical aspects and understand the Finance domain.
- Guide/Lead architecture decisions in your Team of ten, based on industry standards and best practices, lead adherence to architectural principles, SAP product-specific guidelines, and product standards.
- Should be Flexible to work across technologies like ABAP & Open source.
- Design, code, test and assure quality of complex product features via agile techniques. Resolve complex issues within own area of expertise and support others in resolving issues.
- Working with product management, product owners, experts, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate those needs into concise user stories, backlog items with detailed requirements and implement them with the scrum team.
- Verifying that the delivered product meets the functional and design requirements and sign off on delivery.
- Driving the organizational success through successful team deliverables and KPIs.
- Agility, ownership, and collaboration forming the cornerstones for your success.
Experience and Role Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree/Master s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.
- Experience in software development: 8 to 10 year years of overall development experience, preferably with exposure to functional knowledge in Financials.
- Strong programming background and excellent technical skills in ABAP/ABAP OO / OData / Fiori / UI5 /HANA.
- Excellent OOPS, RDBMS and SQL skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Scrum & Agile, Willingness to embrace new topics and technologies.
- Knowledge on open source (node.js/typescript/JavaScript) and web technologies (HTTP/SOAP/XML/REST) beneficial.
- Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
