CONTENT AND OBJECTIVES
How do we as SAP ensure compliance with international export control laws How do we prevent business relationships with companies that are sanctioned or located in an embargoed country or require trade control licenses
These questions are answered by our Export Control Team at SAP IT Services!
We have two systems in place for this: SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) and Business Integrity Screening (BIS). With these, we support all on-prem, cloud, services, and software download processes. Our compliance checks are embedded in the entire end-to-end process: from quotation, to order, to delivery, to financial processes and the use of our software.
EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
On our team, you will:
Implement new, regulatory requirements using our SAP GTS and SAP BIS solution.
Use our Business Partner Screening (BPS) in SAP BIS for new processes
Further develop Export Control Compliance along our end-to-end process: from quotation, order, delivery to finance and usage of our software
Extend the interfaces between standard systems such as SAP ERP or SAP CRM
Work closely with our internal customers from SAP Export Control Operations and the
SAP standard development for SAP GTS and SAP BIS
Optimize the processes in our operational IT business
Be part of an agile, international team
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Successfully completed a degree in business, business informatics, computer science, engineering, or similar
Necessary knowledge
You must have:
Excellent knowledge of the SAP GTS and SAP BIS/BPS applications.
Very good knowledge in the area of Export Control from Sanctioned Party List Screening, Embargo Checks to Material License Management
Deep process knowledge in SAP CRM as well as ERP S/4 HANA with the integrations to GTS
Very good knowledge in delivery processes in Cloud business and OnPrem business, e.g. SAP Software Download Center
Process know-how in SAP product classifications, SAP product structures, and ECCN
Project experience from requirement derivation to coordination with development
Operational experience with systems from the definition of guidelines for support, testing, handover training, optimization of support processes to go-live pre- and post-processes
Very good analytical and conceptual skills
Experience in working in an agile environment, especially with SCRUM
High quality and result orientation
Very good presentation and communication skills
Fluent communication in English Preferred skills
