Summary:
SAP Business ByDesign is a fully integrated business management software solution designed for midsize companies or small businesses that want the benefits of large-scale business applications without the need for a large IT-infrastructure. SAP Business ByDesign team is looking for a strong, self-motivated, enthusiastic person to join our development team in Bangalore. The team works with stakeholders globally, across time zones, geographies and cultures.SAP Business ByDesign has open positions for the role of Developer in the area of Financials.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The Developer has to ramp up quickly on the technical aspects and also understand the domain (Financials) based on the team he/she is assigned.
- Development of new functionality and project specific requirements
- Handle backlog items which are assigned to him/her and deliver with high quality and one time deliverables
- Handle customer issues independently
- Require intensive debugging skills and co-ordination across many teams
- Require communication with customer contacts/domain or functional expert / expert support
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar, required.
- Master s Degree in an area related to Software Engineering desirable.
- Excellent Object Orientated Programming Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills (listening, presenting, writing, formal and informal)
- Self-motivated, self-driven, curious, open minded, resourceful and flexible with the ability to learn quickly
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Experience in software development: 3 to 5 years
- Knowledge in SOA, Enterprise application domain knowledge preferably in Financial Accounting will be an added advantage
- ABAP knowledge an advantage
- Experience in agile development is a plus
