Job Description
Software Architect Microservices
Exp: 14-18yrs
Location: Bangalore
We are looking to hire a talented architect to define and integrate software architecture. Architect will be responsible for upgrading or defining new architecture systems to support future and current applications.
Technical & Professional Expertise:
- Overall 15+ years of Application level design and architecting for SaaS applications along with relevant experience on Microservices and cloud-based applications. DevOps, open source tech stack, security, scalability, performance tuning
- Good understanding and experience of cloud native application design principles (like micro-services, stateless application meant for cloud, containers, 12 factor app principles etc.)
- Experience with production systems and dealing with production issues Experience in large scale HA/DR Cloud-based systems
- Expertise in modern public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as experience in public and private cloud networking architectures along with expertise to infrastructure as a code (CloudFormation/Terraform etc.)
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux, Big Data, SQL, NOSQL, and various other technologies
- Expertise in distributed computing tech (spark), RESTful API, Microservices pattern, WebUI (HTML 5) and Modern JS frameworks like Angular, ReactJS etc.
- Experience with Java, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Data & Spring Cloud
- Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as New Relic, Splunk
- Familiarity/Experience with container technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes etc.
- Knowledge on CI/CD tools like Bosh, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Git, Concourse is preferred
- Experience working on agile development teams (ideally using Scrum or Kanban)
- Experience with Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, TeamCity, and other Continuous Integration tools
Role and Responsibilities:
- Candidate is used to wearing multiple hats, highly motivated, quality conscious with a strong attention to detail, and exhibits a history of achievement in their career to date.
- Produce technical design specifications and guidance to the appropriate detail, acting as an advisor to a large technical or product zones.
- Understand scalability and performance in terms of, systems, services and infrastructure architecture.
- Provide a vision of the core framework of technology services and the components for your product, which enable reuse by the technology teams.
- Participate collaboratively with scrum team members and product owners to groom initiatives in line with the larger technology priorities and engineering excellence goals such as stability, quality, performance etc.
- Liaise with the senior business leaders and tech leadership to ensure alignment of R&D goals and technical capabilities.
- Coach, mentor and inspire all levels of developers and Architects as needed, collaborating with their managers on areas of career development and growth.
