Roles and ResponsibilitiesJob Title- Cloud Infra Ops ManagementEngineer
Department- Infrastructure CoE
Reporting to Head Infrastructure CoE andDevOps
Location-Ahmedabad , Mumbai, Gurgoan (Any one you can chose)
Job Objective
To define and maintain the Cloud Infrastructure Reference Architecture and ensure it is adhered byrespective Cloud teams. This role is accountable to ensure adherence and governance to the CloudInfrastructure Reference Architecture and works closely with the Cloud Infra Architect
To manage and maintain resource requirements from the Business Units within the right architectureguidelines with focus on availability ( Zone, Region) , scalability (on demand), capacity and performance
To Manage the infrastructure in compliance to all security policies and patch management guidelines
To ensure network deployment ( VPC) of Projects and cloud connectivity to the business units as per thenetwork architecture and resilience
To manage and maintain the GCP resources in the most efficient manner using tools ( like terraform, ansible,python ) for driving efficiencies

Strategic Roles andResponsibilities
Understand the groups long-term business strategies and goals, define thestrategic objectives, roadmap, and goals for the IT Cloud Infrastructurefunction in line with overall Group IT Infrastructure strategy
Ensure all Infra solutions exhibit high levels of performance, scalability,maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment
Architect and develop solutions and policies that meet business, IT,Regulation, Compliance and Cloud computing needs, infusing key securitytechnologies in relation to the group Cloud strategy whereappropriate
Participate in industry forums to interact with different Cloud solutionproviders and evaluate new and potential technologies
OperationalResponsibilities
Configure cloud management services on GCP in the organization defined .
Manage and monitor GCP services involved with defined KPI.
Configure & monitor the overall usage of several GCP resources.
Monitor and manage billing and cost optimization processes
Manage templates and document management
Monitor availability and performance.
Manage and forecast Capacity through on demand scaling
Defined & measure level of fault tolerance based on business needs
Identify performance bottlenecks and implement remedies
provision cloud resources and manage implementation automation
Manage backup and disaster recovery processes
Implement and manage security policies
Manage & monitor userid & access level management.
Ensure data integrity and access controls when using the GCP platform
Manage other integration platforms applicable for customer environment.
Automate resource provisioning using tools like Terraform
Make necessary improvements in resources and also work on resource
tagging to designate plans and costs for governance, reporting, andbudgeting.
Manage and configure message queues, event sourcing, RDBMS/NoSQL
data stores.
Automation of processes and routines through Ansible, scripts, python, java
programs
Risk Management
Support assessments on IT infrastructure
Oversee deployment of strategic interventions to mitigate risks
Build reporting dashboards at the group level for capturing status ofdifferent systems
Review Infrastructure related issues through periodic meetings with CIOs tounderstand issues and provide resolution for the same
StakeholderManagement
Build a trusted advisory relationship with all the BUs and engage withArchitects, Engineering , governance stakeholder priorities, and designinfrastructure strategies that deliver business value
Ensure robust decision making with collaborative inputs, resolve conflictsand ensuring follow through on cross functional projects
Consult and collaborate with stakeholders to develop relevant, timely policyand support materials for all business units

People Management

Job Profile
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field experiencerequired
At least 7 years of success in consultative/complex technical cloud deployment projects, Cloudoperations ,Cloud automation preferably on GCP
At least 2 years of experience on Google cloud platforms with knowledge of terraform, python,javascripting, ruby on rails , ansible
Must possess demonstrated analytical skills and thrive in a detail-oriented environment
Team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Entrepreneurial and self-sufficient: work with little oversight delivering high-quality results and drivingown agenda
Effective problem-solving and mediation skills
Strong planning, project management and problem-solving skills
Customer focused, result oriented with high level of integrity
Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments
Excellent presentation skills
Technical understanding of Cloud Computing concepts in general and/or GCP specific technologies,platforms and solutions

Preferred qualifications:
Certification in one or more of the following technologies: Linux, Google Cloud PlatformsProfessional/Architect
Experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions (preferably Google Cloud)
Experience with identity/access management
Familiarity with securing Kubernetes and containerization workloads.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and industry competitive landscape
Breadth of Experience and knowledge, with depth / Subject Matter Expertise in any of the Hyperscalers
Act as trusted technical advisor, and identity priorities, technical objections and design strategiesencompassing the entire Google Cloud ecosystem to deliver value and business outcomes
Ability to solve problems through cloud technologies
