Job Description
US MNC : Systems Architect @ AhmedabadOur client manufactures monitoring & protection devices for high value electrical assets & OEM manufacturing companies. Established in 1945, They produce thousands of different types of products on demand & customized to meet our individual customers needs.
They are the largest & most trusted global leader for partial discharge monitoring, asset
protection equipment & information products across power generation, transmission, & distribution. They are redefining condition-based monitoring.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of professional Product Development experience
Clear understanding of software development practices & lifecycles
Have expertise in the following: C++, C#, C, Java, HTML, CSS, SQL
Have experience with generic messaging, .NET Framework 3.5 & the latest MS Visual Studio tools
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented concepts
Knowledge of Database Management systems
Knowledge of service oriented architectures including Microservices Architecture
Are an independent & motivated self-starter
Are visionary with focus on details at the same time
Work well within teams or individually
Preferred skills/experience:
Experience with industry best practices
Agile development methodologies
Experience in building scalable enterprise solutions
Responsibilities include mentoring entry level Hardware & Software Engineering Associates, creating & reviewing commercial & technical requirements, developing architecture & coding in a variety of programming languages for an enterprise product suite which runs on multiple media platforms. Proven technical leadership & self-motivation is required to be considered.
Heres where youll demonstrate your competencies:
Collaborate with Product Managers & Sales team members to develop commercial & technical requirements for software applications & middleware used to deliver services to electric grid customers
Lead architecture development with a team of system architects to develop high value solutions which delight customers consistent with clients brand
Create code that meets clients coding standards, commercial specifications, & is easy to maintain.
Develop automated test plans for unit & integration tests to ensure that features work per defined use cases
Ensure that all designs are documented & reviewed
Use the latest technologies such as code generation, SW containers to reduce
implementation time & enhance software portability, AI for data analytics, etc.
Mentor entry level Software developers on engineering & company best practices
Create product using a test-driven design approach
