Tech Lead, Software Engineering @ Fiserv

Job Description

Responsibilities
Software development, primarily using dot net (C#), and PL SQL programming languages. Additionally, you will participate in our Application Validation team functions, confirming that software produced by our clients meets our high standards. This role involves working in collaboration with your peers in India and the United States. In this role, you will also assist as needed with other software development and support related activities relating to our team's ability to effectively meet our clients needs.
Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, test and document programs based on customer specifications.
• Ensure that the finished product is delivered on time and with high quality.
• Effectively communicate with peers and Business Analysts to ensure accurate and smooth delivery of products and services.
• Reviewing the software design, software (code) quality and software compliance as per defined DNAapp validation rules

Educational Qualification:

• College / university level degree in software engineering field.

Job Related Experience:

• 5+ years development experience in dot net (C#) and PL/SQL.
• .NET Framework 4.0 and above, WPF, WCF, Web Services, REST
• SQL & PL/SQL concepts, Writing Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views
• End to end experience across the entire software development lifecycle (Design, Specifications, Code Review, Performance Testing, Unit Testing, mocking and integration testing).
• Good communication skills - including writing and conversation (English) with ability to work independently

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, and AngularJS will be a plus

• Prior experience on Fiserv's Core banking Product - DNA
• Familiarity with banking principles / banking software, from previous working experience.

• SQR/Python software development experience. If the selected applicant does not have this experience, we will provide the training.
