Job Description
# Responsible for the overall Housekeeping Operation, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Housekeeping Operation and Administration
# Ensure regular upkeep and maintenance of the entire hotel - guest contact areas, non- guest contact areas and the peripheral areas around the hotel as per standards laid out by the hotel and statutory bodies (FIRE/ BMC) with the assistance of the entire team
# Ensure that all processes are being followed with respect to servicing of rooms (vacant, occupied, departure) and Public areas
# Ensure that consumable and non-consumable stock levels within the housekeeping department are of sufficient quantity and quality in relevance to the hotel occupancy and function forecasts
# Meet guests on a regular basis in their rooms to ensure their comfort
# Attend and resolve guest complaints if any to their satisfactions and take corrective action to prevent any future complaints
# Oversees the Mini bar operation (inventory, consumption and expiry)
# Coach and counsel team members in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy
# Ensures that all HK staff are well presented (uniforms, personal hygiene etc.)
# Ensure that the team adheres to all hotel policies and procedures
