Desired Candidate Profile
Job Purpose:
As part of the TP-India application engineering group, this person will design, develop and maintain a diverse set of Java based applications with best coding practices. This person will work closely with the Technical Leads, Business analysts, Quality Assurance team, and peers in order to clearly understand business and technical requirements. This person will have solid hands-on experience in the Oracle Fusion Middleware suite. Knowledge on Marklogic and XQuery is a plus.
Responsibilities:
1) Design and develop application using Oracle Fusion Middleware suite tools on Java platform: ADF, OSB, WebLogic, XML, PL/SQL, Web services and related technologies.
2) Work on complex file, flat file, DB to DB integrations using ODI (Oracle Data Integrator).
3) Perform data ingestion using oracle MFT tool.
4) Perform XML data modeling and transformations.
5) Analyze SOA services to provide improved reliability and availability of web service functions
6) Troubleshoot, test, and administer support for the entire application stack.
7) Configure continuous monitoring to ensure that the server components are restored as quickly as possible in the event of an outage
8) Maintain a positive and professional work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, coworkers, and managers to ensure good client service and interpersonal rapport.
9) Abide by all Company and departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
1) Bachelors degree or its equivalent in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related technical field.
2) 3 to 10 years of overall programming work experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
3) Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware suite tools: OSB, ODI, MFT and ADF
4) Hands-on experience with REST web services
5) Hands-on experience with BPEL, BPM is a plus
6) Strong understanding of database design and structures. Ability to understand and construct complex database designs is required.
7) Good analytical ability to breakdown problem statements into solutions
8) Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal/written instructions
9) Ability to troubleshoot assigned technical issues and also the ability to meet tight project deadlines
10) Experience in major systems development and implementation
11) Ability to work extended hours, off-hours and/or weekends, as required, in support of the companys business needs.
12) Knowledge on Marklogic (MLCP, ML DM SDK) and XQuery is a plus
