Job Description:
  • We are looking for Java developers with minimum 5+ years of experience responsible for the design and development of applications in regulatory reporting space.
  • The candidates need to translate business requirements to high level technical designs and implement the same. He / She should be articulate in use cases and create clear analysis to support business and product development, deployment and support distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment.
  • Should be able to effectively manage stakeholder expectations, facilitate decision-making by providing right level of information and timely escalation, when required.

Required Skill set:
 1. Excellent Core Java J2SE with Java 7/8
2. Fair Java Memory Management Fundamentals
3. Multi-threaded Programming
4. Good in - Java Frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate
5. Experience developing SOA services (REST & XML/RPC)
6. RDBMS experience preferably Oracle 11
7. Source code control: GIT
8. Interface with production support teams for issues if any reported
9. Strong track records in designing scalable solutions
10. Hands-on with latest development trends in IT Industry
11. Knowledge of modern development lifecycles, such as Agile and iterative development
12. Working understanding of front-end HTML/JS technologies such as JQuery, and AJAX
13. Continuous Integration Servers (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity)
14. Build Tools: Maven, Gradle (Any)
Nice to have:
 1. DevOps experience
2. Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Jenkins experience
3. Experience in E-commerce Systems Development and payment processing
4. Experience in performance optimization
5. Experience in Oracle
6. UX or web design skills
Interpersonal Skills:
  • Disciplined and self motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good to have previous experience of direct client interaction for project brief, understanding and updates
  • Strong work ethics, self-starter who is creative with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently, while maintaining a high degree of communication and escalation
  • Team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Organization skills, be able to prioritize task based on priority level

Qualification:
 Bachelors or Masters degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
