Job Description Summary
As a Manufacturing Process Engineer you will work with cross functional teams to develop our next generation of operational processes for all blade type. You will be responsible for the plant support and delivery of improvements enabling reduction in rework, reduction in cycle time and standardization/optimization, primarily for blade molding manufacturing processes. A key responsibility will also be to work side-by-side with local process engineers and help mature the team and aid collaboration and communication with regional & global engineering functions.Job Description
Role Summary/Purpose:
Through planning and efficient execution deliver engineering based process improvements in Indian plants that enable more stable, standardized and efficient manufacturing of blades. Assist the Global MPE leader to support LM Indian plants
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily coordination and support of decision making in relation to how tasks are solved
- Support and resolve engineering production issues in European plants
- Lead coordination of the team resources in region to give best possible plant & project support
- Closely coordinate activities in region with bucket owners and Global Process Standards Lead
Required Qualifications:
- 3-10y experience with manufacture of wind turbine blades.
- Comprehensive understanding of our manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of plant improvements
- Good influencer and communicator with strong network within European plants
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
- B.Sc. (or above) in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Six sigma green belt or above
