The Role : Sr. QA Analyst
The Location : Mumbai
Grade : 9A
The Team : You will be part of global technology team comprising of Dev, QA and BA teams. You would be required to work in smaller team sizes and be responsible for all the QA activities while working on the allocated projects.
The Impact : You will be working on one of the core technology platforms that is responsible for calculating end of day index values and disseminating information via reporting engine
What s in it for you : The candidate will assist with creating and executing test cases, automation of tests, gather test metrics, do deployments in the QA environment, co- ordinate production deployments and release planning.
Responsibilities :
Develop and document application test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications
Evaluate requirements and define testing objectives and approaches while working in Agile methodology
Continuous review and improvement of the testing and quality assurance methodologies and measurement of these processes
Test and respond to Software Quality Assurance issues with related groups such as Development, Database, Integration, and Customer Support
Understand business model and customer needs and apply/ modify QA techniques accordingly
Provide effective communication regarding issues, testing status and potential risks
Effectively interact with global customers, business users and IT staff
Manage, maintain QA environments along with build and deployments
Design and develop test automation solutions using Cucumber / Selenium, and other technologies determined to best suit our needs
What we re looking for :
Basic Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience
3 to 6 years of experience in complete software testing activities.
Hands on experience working with testing frameworks, Selenium web driver, Cucumber
Hands on experience with Object oriented language like Java or Python
Experience in SQL a must. Knowledge of PL/ SQL, Linux/ UNIX, Jenkins preferred
Experience in supporting test strategy activities, particularly in integration of multiple applications and systems
Experience in evaluating testing technologies , conducting test strategy design and test script code reviews
Demonstrated skill to proactively resolves issues and escalate appropriately
Experience with Index/ Benchmarks or Asset Management or Portfolio Investment modeling.
Experience with Market Data such as Equity, Forex or Options asset classes preferred.
Experience in deployments on Weblogic and Oracle preferred.
Excellent communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies
Excellent understanding of release testing, sign- off and deployment methods
