Job Description

'Functional:
Support the construction manager and other management roles in the construction process throughout all phases of the life-cycle of a project to include estimating, negotiation, contracting, buyout, construction administration etc.
Responsible for execution of works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Provide inputs for preparing the work plans and resource requirements for the works.
Seek necessary resources for his section from works manager / general manager and organize the same.
Resolving technical issues with suppliers, subcontractors and statutory authorities.
Coordinate and help the site engineers to plan for the labour/material requirements
To guide the engineers on explaining the layout & drawings
Operational:
Ensure compliance of quality and safety standards.
Responsible for achieving the production norms and cost reduction norms in his section.
Manage Field Performance (Subcontractor Performance and Client Interface)
Achieve internal budget targets viz. physical target in terms of bill of quantities
Reports:
Periodically report the progress of the works to the reporting manager.
Responsible for generation of documents such as project plan, work breakdown structure, overall and detailed schedule, progress reports and presentations during the stage of proposal and execution under the guidance of General Manager
