JOB DESCRIPTION for Temple Director


Position Title: Temple Director

Reports To: CEO

Experience:

  • At least 8-10 years in related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in management position

Qualification:

  • Should be a Graduate

Salary Budget: Open

Gender Preferred: Female

Age Criteria: 30-40

Preferred shift hours/timings: 12 hours

Weekoff: 1 day (between Tuesday to Friday)

Expertise:

  • Should have good people management skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Should be interested in Spirituality
  • Leadership skills
  • Strong with target setting/analytics
  • Experience in operations

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the day to day management of Shivoham Temple (Shivoham) activities of the foundation.
  • Implement strategic objectives of the foundation.
  • Create awareness of the temple / activities.
  • Maintain spiritual ambience/atmosphere at the temple.
  • Provide service to devotees.
  • Achieve the set target set.
  • Stock management.
  • Strong in operations handling

Key Responsibility Area:

  • Footfall and conversion Respective Poojas and other Activities Handling Festivals & Events
  • Developing/Coaching each team member
  • Developing and Strategizing institution by introducing new innovative Ideas which is In Sync with the foundations Vision
  • End to end marketing/Branding Temple as a Spiritual Destination
  • Will handle a team which includes Archakas, Stall executives, Devotee service executive and housekeeping
  • Should ensure all the temple team are present on time and are there in their allocated area.
  • Observe and review that the team members are performing the tasks assigned to them.
  • Responsible for the achieving the given goals and targets and increasing the collection by maximizing the sales through the team members.
  • Should manage the crowd if required.
  • Should make plans for special occasion and implement them in order to attract more devotes and maximize profitability.
  • Should ensure that all areas of temple are clean.
  • Should resolve the conflict if any within the team members.
  • Ensure that all the materials are available like flowers, havan materials, bhajan cd, etc.
  • Should make devotees believe in god.
  • Assume overall responsibility for developing the temple.
  • Should make the devotees understand about the significance of various rituals or poojas and temple.
