Job Description
Key responsibilities:a.Root causes analysis and drives improvement actions to improve Internal rejection and customer complaints.
b.Drive CAPA for internal rejection and customer complaints
c.Drive internal audits and ensure QMS certification ISO900:2015,
d.Regular process audits, monitoring and ensuring process parameters, CTQ & CTP
e.Drive Quality improvements in raw materials, Process, Packaging, Finished goods&Dispatch.
f.Handling analytical lab Performing all the tests as per the BIS and company standard
Market visit & Quality Complaint:
Visit the customer counters and gather information/feedback about Product Quality& services. Drive improvement projects on feedback / Customer Voice
Reduce the consumer complaints (% Failure) month on month
Training & Development:
a.Facilitate the training to Workmen, supervisors, and Quality team about On Job training, Quality tools, CAPA, etc
b.Arranging QA meeting from time to time with a vendor, outsourced, in-house personnel, and workmen for meeting quality standards
Cost savings & others
a.Identify the wastages in the manufacturing process and drive improvement action to reduce wastages to improve efficiency
b.Vendor development and Supplier audit to make sure of the Quality at the source
c.Reduce the customer / Consumer complaints
d.Plant hygiene, proper storage of Raw materials & Finished goods.
e.Frequent quality audit and rate the process for improvement
f.Implement different Quality tools and their sustainability (basic 7 QC tools)
g.Cost saving projects using 6 sigma
h.Get the certification (In house / Outside) for Lean implementer and start implementing the same using Lean tools like 5S, FMEA, KANBAN, A3, and other problem-solving techniques and impart the same to all members in the plant
i.Analysis, documents and report back for the products which are coming back from the customer/end users due to defect
j.Analyze the internal failure, external failure and take CAPA to reduce the same
k.Handle ancillary units (Batch foam, Boded foam, EPE unit, Quilting unit, etc)which will support the main production, increase the % yield by doing continual improvement activities
Desired Qualification and Experience:
Qualification:B.E. / Diploma in polymer / Rubber technology / Mechanical engg.
Experience:5 to 7 Years in the Rubber or mattress industry /Automobile/Manufacturing
Skillset: ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor, 7QC tools, RCA, CAPA, 8D methodology, Control plan, FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc
Behavior skills: Passionate, Open, Straight forward, Convince others, collaborative, able to handle a team of 8 people
