Job Description

Job Description:Design & Development for Electrical Distribution System (EDS)   Design and development exp of wiring harness 3D routing and EE packaging. Design review and resolve wiring harness manufacturing drawing issues. Design Wiring and EE components installation/ assembly drawing. Carry Vehicle benchmark Virtual. Design and review on complete vehicle Harness development. Understand and plan/ track deliverables as per project timeline and EDS development lifecycle. Supplier discussion and resolution of harness manufacturing issues. Handle customer communications of project related technical issues. Understanding of electrical schematic. Design of harness support parts like Grommets, plastic protectors etc. Manage and ensure EDS part release. Vehicle and Harness manufacturing build Support. Must be able to finalize harness protections, support and components based on thorough knowledge on vehicle and environmental conditions like thermal,vibrations, water sealing requirements, vehicle Zones and risks involved. Must have experience in Vehicle build support. Must be able to understand the requirements for ergonomics, hand clearance, assembly clearance, hand reachability, visibility, serviceability etc. Good understandingon vehicleassemblysequence. Able to define wiring harness assembly process, co-ordination with general assembly, proto team & vehiclearchitecture team. Knowledge onDFMEA. Key PerformanceIndicators-Harness Routing and Electrical packaging inUGNX -Harness manufacturing and Build support-PLM in Teamcenter -Customer and supplier management -Product lifecycle management -Team management
