Job Description

The QA Lead/Scrum Master will be responsible for leading the QA Team with the responsibility for overseeing the total quality inclusive of defining standards, control and assurance, and improvement of QA processes.
Define standards for the quality aspects of the product, implementation of quality management system for testing of the product, and bring about standard test practices in the team
Take part in discussions with the client and project team on any requirements analysis for new change requests
Work with project managers to develop QA schedules and resource allocation plans for QA activities
Maintain Project Plan for activities scheduled for team members, monitor tasks and track the progress
Conduct daily scrum meetings with the QA Team to discuss status and review progress, and provide status update to Reporting Manager and Management
Manage quality assurance engineers and testers including the preparation and delivery of staff performance evaluations
Preparation of test plans and test scripts, and reviewing for effective coverage of all functionalities and scenarios
Review test results, ensure testing of the product covers aspects such as printing, browser compatibility, OS compatibility, performance, user load etc.
Automation of QA processes by implementation of tools such as Selenium or QTP, preparation, maintenance and updation of test scripts for ongoing testing
Implement ongoing quality improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams
Maintain product quality and consistency throughout product cycle, to include the design, define and build phases through quality checkpoints and testing
Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvement of all team members
Coordinate on all software quality assurance issues with related groups such as development, database, integration, and customer support
Anticipate program release problems and take corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments
Manage the planning and execution of product testing efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates
