Job Description

External Candidates Qualifications / Technical knowledge & Experience required :
Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline (Computer Science preferred) with a good background of software development with a minimum IT experience of 5 to 10 years preferably in Java/J2EE applications
Mandatory skills:
Excellent Core Java, J2EE ,Junit
Hands on experience in Web technologies(struts,spring mvc)
Good exposure to any UI framework (Extjs, Jquery)
Good hands on knowledge on Hibernate & Spring
Some exposure to Performance tuning
Good JDBC skills
Exposure on SQL Server (SQL queries, Transact-SQL, stored procedures, functions and database modeling) would be an advantage
Nice-to-have skills:
Experience in Agile
Knowledge of Webservices,drools,birt, maven
Hands on Sencha Architect tool
Knowledge of Unix scripting would be an added advantage
Development with the use of efficient build practices such as continuous integration and test-driven development is required
Level of Education:
Bachelors degree with first class and 10 years of Experience.
Previous Level of Experience:
Domain / Technical
Technical competency in the following:
- Core Java, Sybase, UNIX,WTX
Ability to perform business and technical analysis, design and identify impacts (functional/technical).
Knowledge and/or experience of the Investment services industry / Funds Administration will be a plus
Others
Inclination to understand and learn application/business functionality
Fast learner
Team player
Ability to work in tight deadlines.
