NCR Retail Solutions provides Point-of-Sale solutions and services to our Retail customers. The Professional Services Retail Solutions Team is looking for an experienced DevOps specialist to join our Deployment team.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for implementation of the Deployment Solution for our innovative NCR Retail POS for the Grocery and Convenience Store market.
In this mission critical opportunity, you will be a member of the DevOps team, responsible for enablement and implementation of Large-Scale Distributed systems Deployment Solution for NCR customers.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Authoring PowerShell scripts to support Deployment Automation and Monitoring of Deployment Process
- Implement Software deployment on remote, distributed sites
- Utilize deployment tools to schedule and execute software deployment
- Configure deployment tools and create customer specific scripts to implement deployment process in customer environment
- Document procedure and report execution results
- Collaborate with DevOps team and Deployment Solution Architect to ensure implementation of best practices of software Deployment
Required Qualifications:
- Solid proven experience with PowerShell
- Familiarity with Deployment Automation
- Familiarity experience with at least one of the following frameworks Microsoft SCCM, IBM Big Fix, Red Hat Ansible or equivalent
- Ability to process and support deployment in different time zones
- Solid technical knowledge of windows OS and OS imaging processes
- Understanding and experience with network and application security
- Excellent communication skills ( English US)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coding experience with software languages C#, Java
- CI / DI hands on experience
- Hands on experience with cloud technologies, AWS, Azure, GCP. Containerization with Kubernetes is a bonus
