Tollplus is looking for a Director - Technology to be part of high caliber Engineering team playing a pivotal role in building an effective next-generation enterprise product. He should be a strategic leader who can lead the strategy and execution of Quest of technology, automation and analytics framework across the organization.
The Director of Technology and Product Development is responsible for leading the organization in engineering and development for new products, product enhancements, and product redesign. Evaluates the potential and practicality of products in development and rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position requires exercising independent judgment to perform the responsibilities described herein
This role shall provide a challenging, yet fun-filled working environment, exposure and to complete product development lifecycle, real-time business challenges and how you are going to address them through digital products.
You will also help establish the roadmap of business groups working on both the business and technical aspects of an initiative. The leader in this role will be highly technical helping and lead the team with diverse responsibilities in innovating in the engineering world.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and grow a healthy, diverse team and mentor great engineers and be a fantastic role model of a service quality first-obsessed and data-driven Engineering process
Increase data driven decision making, enabling everyone from the CEO to the field facilitator to leverage accurate information to decide strategic goals or choose contextual lesson plans and topics for end beneficiaries
Drove the technology future of the enterprise by leading the development and advocacy of standards, principles, and architectures for key technology platforms and cross-product initiatives
Provide technical direction for the design, development and systems integration right from definition phase through implementation.
Should be able to guide technical managers, Architects and technical leads in ensuring the solution design is implemented in a technically sound fashion.
Coordinating, rationalizing, and creating architecture and standard development platforms and frameworks
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery takes place within the lifecycle of existing products
Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring and managing projects such as preparation of schedule, status, delivery impact and risk, progress reports, records of expenditures, and staff conferences, in order to inform management of current status of each project
Organize and plan process improvements involving quality of deliverables including coding practices, automated unit testing, code review, security, performance, branching processes.
Personally, commit to deliver success of the team through empowerment and accountability by model, coach, and care. Being a decision maker around software architecture best practices, including scalability, performance, availability, maintainability, extensibility and security
Facilitate an environment of inclusion that leverages diverse perspectives and talent, to better represent and understand our global customer
identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility and recommend new approaches, typically seeking to exploit technology components and/or fill technology gaps
Skill Set:
Should have 18+ yrs of experience in leading the development of Enterprise and Cloud Technology stack: Preferably Microsoft Stack.
Steering efforts in using Agile practices, Performance related Problem Solving, Precise Future Vision of the Product Issues, Risk Avoidance Planning and Risk Mitigation Strategy, SDLC, Conflict Management, Project Planning and Estimation, Agile Scrum
Expertise across Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Functional and Technical Specifications, Business Requirements, Documentation, Use Case Methodology, Business Process Modelling, Data Modelling, Systems Architecture and Mission Critical Application Design and Development
Project management skills; will have demonstrated the ability to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution; will understand how to align resources, seek the input of key constituents, and manage others to achieve desired results;
Should strengthening business opportunity through technology planning, enterprise roadmap and providing strategic direction on technology/ technical architecture selection & evaluation
Leading, mentoring & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in process operations; developing competency among the team members; by leading teams during the project phase, training & guiding team members and enabling knowledge sharing among the team
Open and collaborative style; must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged;
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership, driving long-range thinking about business and operations strategy and inspiring others to work towards that vision is a must.
Proven ability to lead, coach and provide leadership to staff, including development of goals, objectives and performance success criteria.
Skilled in both oral and written communications in order to contribute to meetings and capture requirements as well as write documentation, specifications, procedures and process flows
Qualifications: Any Graduate with B. E / B. Tech, MCA or equivalent degree with more than 18+ years relevant work experience.
