Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Accurately code physician practitioner services through review of medical record documentation and encounter forms.
• Assign ICD-10 diagnosis codes, and modifiers based on documentation, government teaching physician documentation requirements and LCD/NCD/ NCCI policies.
• Should be an expertise in reviewing Ancillary (Diagnostic) studies and assign ICD-10 diagnosis codes.
• Understand the client requirements and specifications of the project
• Ensure that deliverable to the client is adhered to the quality standards

Skills Required:

• Graduation, life science background preferably Bio Chemistry, Microbiology, Physiotherapist, Pharmacy and Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with profound foundational knowledge in ICD-10 CM coding
• Should be CCS/CPC certified
• Software/Platform Preference-Working experience in 3M, Cerner is added advantage
• Strong anatomy & physiology knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and excellent analytical skills to interpret and abstract the diagnosis information
• Willing to work for Rotational shifts
