Responsibilities

Being a digital platform, udaan generates a tremendous amount of data on an ongoing basis. As an analyst, you will be responsible for leveraging our data to improve our products/functions in Ads. Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up metrics for measuring product/functional performance and responsible for tracking its improvement. Standardising the metric definition.

• Measure impact of experiments related to function, analysing and helping in course correction

• Recommending product improvements based on analytical findings. Defining new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve performance.

• Analytical articulation of a business or operations problem statement and using data analysis to understand the complexity of the problem and broad contours of potential solution(s).

• Becoming the domain champion of the product/function with a clear data-driven understanding of how our users interact with our product.

What you'll need to be good at:

• Analytical thinking, problem solving and a high level of comfort with numbers

1. Strong foundations in statistical methods

2. Fetching and manipulating large data sets using SQL / Hive

3. Analysing and visualizing large data sets: R / python

• A keen sense of business and attention to detail.

• Understanding and being sensitive to the needs and challenges of stakeholders.
