Engineer II - Software - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Microchip Technology

Job Description

This B2B EDI developer will be responsible for analyzing and developing EDI/RosettaNet/Biztalk applications, testing interfaces, monitoring the daily B2B processes etc. This person will be working closely with global B2B teams for effective solutions.

Essential Functions :

• BizTalk developer with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft BizTalk development coupled with B2B technical process /design expertise to automate key business processes with our Customers and Vendors
• Work with B2B analysts on requirements gathering
• Architect B2B processes working with technology stakeholders
• Design flow for inbound/outbound transactions
• Write specifications, document and test implemented functionality
• Develop ,monitor and support B2B systems
• Work with IT Management to build the B2B service platform

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or any equivalent degree
• 4-6 years of strong experience developing and supporting B2B processes using BizTalk / GXS AI v5.2 or v5.3
• Minimum 3+ years of MS BizTalk (2010 or higher), .NET, XML, x12, Web services, Visual Studio,WCF
• Expert in developing BizTalk applications using BizTalk artifacts such as BizTalk orchestrations / Schemas / Maps / XSLT / XML / Custom Pipeline components and Custom functions
• Must have the knowledge of EDI Standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, or an XML-based standard (RosettaNet)
• Minimum 2+ years of SQL Server 2008 or higher
• Demonstrated experience implementing end-to-end B2B processes or any migration process
• DB knowledge (Oracle/SQL Server)
• Familiarity with common coding practices and patterns
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
