Job Description
Job Location : KolkataReporting to: VP Operations.
Experience : 8 10 years
Qualification: Any Graduate
Objectives:
Overall responsibility for inline product quality.
Ensuring all products entering the warehouse are made to the exact customer requirements and free from defect.
To have a high performing team of inline inspectors who can identify faults quickly and accurately.
To inform all relevant departments of any significant inline QC problems as they arise.
To place special focus on new lines, leathers or hardware entering production.
How you will achieve your objectives:
You will manage your team effectively, ensuring they work diligently and accurately.
You will train your team to the required level of competency. Taking full responsibility for their performance.
You will ensure their work is fully recorded and their productivity is assessed.
You will ensure you collect all available data from PE or QC Departments providing your teams with all customer and QC requirements, including risk assessments, samples and MSS so they are in full knowledge of product requirements.
You will monitor warehouse repairs / returns via PMS and assess poor performers in your team.
On a monthly basis you will assess fabricator and factory performance via PMS and report findings back to VP Operations.
You will make yourself aware of week by week production plans across all factories, knowing what goods are going into production and alerting your team to those that may cause risk.
You will consistently assess your team, identifying weak links for performance, attendance and attitude and resolving to VP Ops satisfaction.
You will be in regular contact with VP Ops in regard to your own attendance, alerting daily what factories you will be visiting and any lateness or absenteeism from your side.
You will create excellent working relationships with all managers and resolve conflict.
