R&D Group Manager - Bengaluru/Bangalore @ Signify

You will have the opportunity to:

• Own the competence and technology management of a highly capable engineering team
• Perform Project Management (RTE) role in the Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise setup
• Work with colleagues across the world to reimagine Connected Lighting
• People resource management of the group. Ensures an engaged, innovative, and inspiring working environment in the department by motivating, challenging, and coaching the group s employees
• Continuous improvement of the group. Formulates and implements longer-term vision/direction/strategy: steering the group to add maximum value to the business in the future
• Execution control of the group. You will be co-responsible for achieving operational plans and ensures the optimal allocation of personnel to the projects
• Competence development of the group. Develop and maintain a long-term view of the required competencies and define the best technological roadmap for a specific technology or product.
• Customer development. Establishes a network with relevant players, and actively using this network to obtain input on technological developments, identifying trends and opportunities

Your qualifications

The ideal candidate should have

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in RD Management (competence management, technology management, People management)
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Project/Program management in delivering large projects/programs covering the entire Software Development life cycle
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in working in Product Companies
• Demonstrated successful problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a multinational company in an Agile environment
