Role Mission
- This functional lead position will be responsible for applying business and technical expertise to support, design and implement existing or new or revised business functionality into our global HANA and EDW systems.
- This role should have ability to transform and to support advanced business functions and business requirements into design, build and implement reporting solutions for the specified functional area. This person will be the key resource to drive continuous improvement and best Practices on SAP BW, SAP HANA and TABLEAU systems in support of the company vision, operations strategy and roadmap.

Outcomes/Success Criteria
- Main liaison to business functional areas Partnering with business stakeholders, understand their needs, prioritize efforts, recommend changes / innovations, serving as the Subject Matter Expert
- Understand business requirements, analyze business needs, identify gaps, document requirements, propose, design and implement solutions, including localization
- Reporting Design: Documenting requirements and developing solutions using standard or custom functionality. Recommending alternatives when multiple options are available.
- Developing Solutions: Perform System Configuration, document functional requirements for custom development, execute appropriate system tests (Unit Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing), writing system/user documentation, train end users on functionality.
- Production Support: Troubleshoot system issues, detailed technical analysis and apply solutions
- Business/Process Knowledge: Develop understanding of core functional areas.
- Project Management: Planning, support business case analysis, organize priorities, self-driven meeting tight timelines following standard project methodology
- Compliance: Ensures company, departmental and governmental standards are always followed
- Apply hands-on technical and functional expertise in SAP BW, SAP HANA and TABLEAU systems
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in information systems technology
- 5+ years of experience in SAP BW, BI and analytics
- Advanced knowledge of SAP ECC (SD, MM, PP, QM PM modules desirable) and SAP IBP is a plus
- Pro-active approach to problem solving
- The ability to work to strict timescales as part of an integrated, multidiscipline team.
- Experience developing end-user learning documentation including: concept slides, work instructions, exercise guides, quick reference guides, system demonstration.
- Technical knowledge on SAP BW, SAP BW on HANA, SAP HANA (native) and SAP SLT is mandatory.
- Experience developing reporting tools in the new SAP generation tools Sap Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP IBP.
- Technical coding knowledge in ABAP and SQL script is mandatory
- Knowledge on HANA studio tool is mandatory
- Technical knowledge in Dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Google Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud are mandatory
- SAP BW Integrated Planning knowledge is desirable
- Knowledge on data ingestion using ETL tools (e.g. SAP BODS, SAP PO) is desirable
- Knowledge of roles and authorization functionality
- Experience in excise warehouse and/or foreign trade zone is a plus
- Worked in a spirits, beverage or consumer industry is preferred
- Fluent in the English language (speak, read, write)
- Position based in India, availability to travel 40% internationally
