Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Description :-
- A technical expert providing technical assistance to Cisco customers, while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting hardware/software-related issues on various Cisco Switching, VSS, and Routing technology mainly Cisco products Switches Routers, and Security products.
- 6500/4500/Nexus/Stack/Switching technologies
- Routing protocols static and dynamic
- Firewalls ASA/FTD(added advantage)
- Applies analytical skills and technical knowledge to resolve product and network problems of small to medium complexity of L2 and L3.
- Analyze, Configure and Troubleshoot Core, Distribution, Access layer switches and networks.
- Highly responsive and sensitive to customer-reported issues according to their severity. Should be able to quickly resolve customer issues.
- End-to-end ownership of customer service requests. Collaborates with all relevant stakeholders internal and external, and acts as focal point until the problem is resolved.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action.
- Presents ideas and interacts with TAC and internal teams at the peer level
- Ability to interact with customers in a variety of mediums.
- Drive for continuous learning, results in orientation, and teamwork.
Work Experience :
- Required: 4 / 5+ years total work experience in the Information Technology industry and related working experience in technical support or professional services.
- Working knowledge of the Networking industry, products, and protocols
- CCNP certification is a must
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Strong Networking and in-depth knowledge in Cisco switching and routing (MST, VSS, OSPF), Security ASA Firewall, VPN, AAA, and Firepower technologies.
- Expertise in troubleshooting security, switching, and routing related issues
- Well-versed with networking management tools that pushes details of devices in the network and fetching details of the same.
- Good experience in supporting and configuring small to medium enterprise LANs
- Troubleshoot product and network problems of high complexity.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convince and build social relationships.
- Good customer handling skills. Ability to handle tough situations effectively
- Collaborating mindset and good team player.
