Primary Skill Set : Cobol (expertise), JCL, DB2.
Good to have: Pacbase, RDZ development environment, DL1 databases, SQL
Job Description:
* Responsible for coding, unit testing, application development/support, bug fixing and deliver assigned tasks as per predefined timelines and quality standards.
* Work on the resolution of assigned incidents and recovery of application ASAP.
* Analyzes incidents to identify service restoration actions to be taken
* Incident investigation and diagnosis of all priority type.
* Assists with classification and prioritization of incidents
* Detection of possible Problems and the creating a problem records
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
* Investigates assigned problems through to resolution or error identification
* Work on change requests from business.
* Handle ad-hoc requests for Service status or one-time information retrieval/reports
* Gather service data as needed for reporting and communications
* Analyzing the process and suggesting improvements
* Keeping affected business partners informed about progress
* Participate in implementation activities and provide post implementation support.
* Contribute towards updating knowledge assets
* Document all the learnings from the project
* Adhere to the Agile Ways of Working
* Should be willing to work in Development/support in UK/India shift.
