We are hiring for Purchase Engineer for Machine tools industry at BangaloreKindly find below job details.

Designation: Purchase Engineer
Desired Skill set:
a) Very good Knowledge of manufacturing process of precisions machined parts,
Machined structures, Sheet metal items.
b) Good knowledge of vendor base in Bangalore
c) Experienced in purchase of bought out items (Local and imported)
d) Development of new vendors
e) Co-ordination with suppliers for timely delivery
f) Good knowledge of Excel.
g) Knowledge of SAP Business one desirable.
Job Profile:
a) Study the drawings and BOM released by the design, for manufactured parts,
identify suitable vendors and send enquiries and get quotations.
b) Estimate the manufacturing cost, negotiate and finalise the price and order.
c) For the purchase items of BOM (Local and imported), send enquiries, get quotations
and order the items.
d) Monitor the costs and ensure they are within budgets.
e) Follow up with suppliers and ensure on time delivery of the required parts.
f) Make vendor visits to monitor progress
g) Prepare MIS reports for management.
