Job Description
The Role
Our cloud operations team is responsible to operate our SaaS platform including several applications, APIs and services and ensure reliability, uptime, performance, security and observability for the SRE team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automating various tasks in cloud operations, deployment, monitoring and performance optimization.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for new applications and services
- Build, release and configuration management of production systems.
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
- Build tools to improve observability
- Evaluate new technology options and vendor products.
- Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment
- Communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
Key Requirements:
- Overall 3+ years of experience in Devops and Cloud Operations, specifically in AWS.
- Deep knowledge of AWS networking, EC2, RDS, S3, SQS etc
- Understanding of data stores like Elasticsearch and Redis
- Strong expertise in developing tools to automate AWS services using Python
- Working experience of creating CFT (Cloud Formation Templates) for complex infrastructure.
- Knowledge of tools such as Cloud Custodian, Zookeeper, New Relic, Loggly etc.
- Must have experience in deploying, releasing and managing production systems
- MCA or a degree in engineering in Computer Science, IT or Electronics streams.
