Big Data Engineer @ AMSYS IT

Job Description

5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience with object-oriented design, coding and testing patterns, as well as, experience in engineering (commercial or open source) software platforms and large-scale data infrastructures.
3+ years of enterprise Big Data engineering experience within any Hadoop environment.
Professional Hadoop training and Hortonworks or Cloudera certifications (Preferred)
At least three (3+) years of Scala / Java development experience
Strong understanding of Hadoop internal
Data Streaming techniques Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, ZeroMQ, Spark, etc.
NoSQL: MongoDB and/or Cassandra
Agile development
1+ years of Enterprise support experience with the following items:
Hadoop, HIVE, HBase, Spark, Kafka, Sqoop services and clients

Languages: Python, R, SQL, Java, Scala, Jupyter or Zeppelin, Hue, RStudio, Spark RDDs and DataFrames, machine learning algorithms
1+ years of Enterprise Big Data security and management operations experience using tools and services, such as, Ambari, Knox, Ranger, HDFS, Oozie, Kerberos.
1+ years of development and operations experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana.
1+ years of Container management and development experience using Docker.
