Job Description
Leading Venture Capital firm which is a part of huge real estate group is looking for Investment Analyst for Mumbai location.
Max CTC: 20 lacs ( open for further discussion on case to case basis)
About the fund :
Early-stage investment fund aimed at building Indias next big
consumer brands by providing capital as well as hands-on involvement in branding,
distribution and organization building to stellar entrepreneurs with strong business models.
The fund has an initial corpus of up to USD 100m, primarily investing at pre-series A and Series
A stages.
The fund is a unique investment venture in that capital employed will form only a small part
of the offering to potential investees, the larger element being active involvement by
seasoned professionals in the areas of organization building, brand building, business
strategy, product-to-market, sales and finance to help professionalize the organization and
achieve scale and sustained growth
Preferred EXp:
someone who has either worked in a consumer tech start up or been a part of the startup ecosystem through internships or role in seed funds
someone who has good connect with private equity company which will help in raising fund.

The Role You will have an opportunity to represent one of Indias most differentiated consumer investment funds, source interesting and relevant opportunities to build exciting businesses, and help the investing team understand, shortlist and invest in them. You will also build relationships with investors and funds across the ecosystem and help portfolio companies raise further capital. Your role will include: Industry mapping Map the selected industries will all key information and primary research at an ongoing basis and network with relevant folks Market intelligence understand market dynamics and opportunity size, both for new opportunities and for existing portfolio. Network with relevant community of investors and start-ups to increase awareness of the Capital brand Identify opportunities find relevant opportunities in the selected category/industry at an early stage and constantly track the understanding and key events Represent the capital brand across forums both formal and informal. Active participation in the start-up community, develop a robust ecosystem of peer VCs, startup CEOs, bankers, etc. The Person Qualifications you should have: Graduate/MBA with relevant work experience of 2-5 years Experienced (preferred) in young/early-stage start-ups or VC firm Worked in a role which involved building or managing strong networks in the VCs, start-up and corporate communities Qualities you should have: Hustle Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and problem-solving skills Strong analytical, networking and communication skills (oral & written) Good understanding of business concepts and ability to understand and drive investment thesis Commercial insight and understanding of business metrics and structure to build a preliminary understanding of any business Penchant for ambiguity and demonstrate creativity and intellectual flexibility in an uncertain and rapidly changing environment
