Technical Lead QA @ Clarivate

Job Description

Main Accountabilities:

• Leading a team of 3-4 engineers & assisting in task deliveries, career progression & delivering as per manifesto
• Overseeing and supporting creation and designing of test automation frameworks and Proof of concepts for latest tools and techniques
• Mentoring senior and junior members of the team & provide the technical direction
• Should be able to track and manage delivery of a product end to end with strong focus on test practices and reporting
• Strong experience in any of the three: Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Junit, .Net, Protractor, testNG, Gherkins, SoapUI, Python
• Strong experience in performance engineering including hands on with at least one tool (Netload, Gatling, JMeter or LoadRunner)
• Clear understanding of Agile & Kanban development approaches
• Have worked and significantly contributed to automation using build pipeline & test phases
• Demonstrable work done in product development & quality with teams spread across different locations worldwide
• Good working experience with GIT and understanding on any one of these : Jenkins, TeamCity and AzureDevOps

Other Responsibilities:

• This is first level lead role with skill sets in automation & performance engineering
• The person may have a dedicated team under him or could be asked to work as an individual contributor
• Should be prepared to evaluate, learn and use new tools
• Should have working knowledge of AWS/Azure & SQL
• Should have worked on automating the performance/accessibility/e2e using various tools/techniques
• Ability to work with team members in a supportive way which encourages team building and confidence with individual members
• Ability to work accurately under pressure & delivering as per the expectations
• Ability to prioritize individual & team's workload
• Ability to handle any other reasonable task as specified by management

Skills/ Experience Required:

• Understanding of Accessibility testing & tools would be a plus.
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Good Analytical & Effective interpersonal skills

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or master's degree (BE, ME, B Tech, MTech, MCA, MS)
• 9-14 years of demonstrable experience in Automation & Performance Engineering
