Basic Functions
  • Oversee & Support product planning and the high-level product development roadmap and prioritization. Drive alignment with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Define requirements for and design solutions for contemporary data and analytics products across healthcare market segments
  • Client the needs of prospective customers (brokers, employers, providers, patients, pharmaceutical, payers, insurers, etc.) that EXL Data & Analytics is uniquely positioned to address.
  • Market research, analysis, competitive advantage, value creation/differentiation and go to market support
  • Coordinate effectively with company leadership: Ensure product initiatives align with broader company goals and available resources.
  • Create a product culture aligned with our core values: Work with R&D to develop a transparent and collaborative product development process based on agile principles.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define, refine and improve our product vision and value proposition.
  • Ensure that the organization understands the vision and direction for the product roadmap and strategy.
  • Evaluate market trends, product industry and competition strategies to provide recommendations on product pricing and positioning.
  • Effectively position products for all markets and all buyer types.
  • Seek new market opportunities by leveraging the company's distinctive competence in brining Client and disruptive technology and products to our markets.
  • The role will involve meeting with senior client executives at Director, VP, CXO levels (for Data Management, BI, Advanced Analytics, Analytics-led Digital) with prospects/clients, understanding their pain-points, designing high-impact demonstrable solutions, and most importantly, following up hot leads to a winning closure
  • Learn from the market and inform solution/service and product design
  • Leverage hands-on understanding of multiple analytical skill-sets and projects to drive support service delivery in successful execution in emerging areas e.g., cloud, NLP (select projects only)
  • Consolidate learning from multiple projects to help develop new services and solution offerings in partnership with solution architects and product managers
  • Research emerging healthcare trends, reflect on market direction and create a direction for operations/service delivery to stay a step ahead of future demand trends
  • Strong executive-level client facing skills and the ability to communicate complex analytical concepts with confidence to a non-technical executive audience
  • Work seamlessly with other teams including Analytics, Clinical, Sales, Account Teams, and Technology.
  • Drive the product organization towards agile framework - Business Analytics, User Acceptance Testing, Client Training, User Documentation

Essential Functions
  • US Healthcare experience for 10 plus years, Healthcare analytics experience preferred
  • Experience in product management or business analysis preferred
  • Experience in any of the following areas: Population Health, Provider Analytics, Interoperability, FHIR, Payer Analytics, Data Management, Care Management and Predictive Modeling
  • Deep Knowledge on Claims & Payments Lifecycle in US Healthcare
  • Experience in Cloud & NLP Technologies (Preferred)
  • Predictive Analytics / Machine Learning Experience will be beneficial
  • Clinical Informatics/ Coding experience will be beneficial
  • Healthcare product development or services or consulting experience beneficial

Primary Internal Interactions
  • Review with the Overall Product Manager & AVP for improvements in the product development lifecycle
  • Assessment meeting with VP & above for additional product development features.
  • Train & Mentor the juniors in the team

Primary External Interactions
  • Communicate with onshore stakeholder & Executive Team Members.
  • Help the Product Management Group set the product roadmap & help in identifying future sellable product features.
  • Client Interactions to better understands expectations & steamline solutions. If required should be a bridge between the client and the technology teams.

Technical Skills
Required Skills - SME in Health Care Analytics, Experience in Cloud & NLP Technologies, Functional SME in Technical Analytics, Deep Knowledge on Claims & Payments Lifecycle in US Healthcare, Knowledge of BI Tools, Advanced Microsoft office (work, excel, project, visio)
Tools
Knowledge on atleast one of the following,
  • enterprise modeling tool and data integration platform (Erwin, Embarcadero, Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, Pentaho)
  • enterprise business intelligence platform (Tableau, PowerBI, Business Objects, Microstrategy, Cognos)
  • enterprise data warehousing platform (Oracle, Microsoft, DB2, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Data Analysis Tools(Online analytical processing (OLAP), ETL frameworks)

Servers Knowledge
  • HortonWorks & Cloudera distribution of Hadoop. Other distribution knowledge is add on.

Skills Nice to Have
  • Experience on Big Data Tools not limited to Python, Spark &plus Python, HIVE, HBASE, Sqoop, CouchDB, MongoDB, MS SQL, Cassandra, Kafka
  • PMP & CSPO preferred

Working Hours General Shift 11 AM to 8 PM
Will be required to extend as per project release needs
Education Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree from top tier colleges with good grades, preferably in a relevant field including Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • US Healthcare Certifications
