. Build an engineering roadmap and technology strategy for the entire engineering team
. Promote a culture that drives autonomy, responsibility, perfection and mastery
. Collaborate with product and delivery team to ensure timely and quality delivery of the product features
. Be responsible to mentor, guide, hire and scale the team with top-notch talent
. Build and lead multiple engineering teams that ship frequently, balance speed to market with operational and process excellence
. Maintain and optimize software and cloud expenses to meet financial goals of the company
. Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements and new initiatives
. Communicate effectively at different levels including senior leadership, peers, reporting team and other stakeholders to update the weekly progress
. Key Contributor in Merger and Acquisition related activities like Organization redesign, cultural change, execution synergies across BUs etc.
. Proven ability of driving and managing organisational programs that lead to significant ($ 5m + ) revenue / operational improvement. [Executive presence, Handle stress, participated in CXO/Board presentations, comfortable with large scale program implementations
. Acknowledged as a respected leader, mentor in the engineering fraternity. Responsible for overall Engineering Practice management within the areas, in which they ensure that all engineering functions (Tech Lead to Architects ) are efficiently and effectively executed.
. Within the tribe/department establish benchmarks, standards, techniques, and other mechanisms for defining, measuring, and optimizing non-functional requirements
Minimum qualifications:. 15to 20 years of relevant experience in designing and developing scalable, secure and distributed multi-tenant enterprise applications
. Ability to hire, lead, mentor and handle a large team of engineers
. Proficiency in .Net Framework and building Enterprise Application on .Net Platform
. Experience in building cloud products and microservices architecture using AWS, GCP platforms and .Net related technologies. Managing and optimizing huge volume of data using stores such as Cassandra, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis
. Extensive engineering expertise in measuring engineering OKR's, following best coding practices and streamlining processes for frequent deployments
. Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire engineering team on track
. Proven ability to drive large scale projects with deep understanding of Agile SDLC, high collaboration and leadership
. Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
. Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
. Must have excellent managerial and supervisory skills, and verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to haves. Having some background of SaaS Technology Platforms
. Relevant experience in a product organization
. Relevant experience in travel domain or customer loyalty space
. Relevant experience in data-backed decision making/statistics/market research
