Role Description/Position Summary:Develop and maintain business, prepare strategies, and effectively manage UV-Visible product line business through channel partners.
Responsibilities: Business Planning- Develop and maintain sales operating plan for PAN India level that includes opportunity map, target accounts, forecast, sales strategies and tactics, resource requirements.
- Rationalizing/optimization of channels across segments and the Region.
- Ensure channel compliance basis Finalization of Channel Agreements and company guidelines
- Present Sales Analytics to the sales team
- Understands the generic strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and develop sales strategies to respond effectively.
- Monitor & track overall distributor performance and provide indicators to the regional team to take future decisions
- Ensures that sales operating plan is consistent with overall business goals.
- Regularly reviews forecast, pipeline and sales strategies with individual sales reps. Ensures that opportunities and leads are pursued in a timely way.
- Conduct Training on Product, Market dynamics, Software, and competition
- Regular monitoring of sales competency through product and sales training.
- Work with key accounts for bulk business cases or project or tender business.
- Cross division collaboration for business development
- Work with Marketing for online digital platforms, marketing activities etc.
- Work with the Business unit for regular updates on product, business, and any challenges.
Business Development Activities- Managing Relationships with Channel Partners
- Recruits and develops a business relationships with channel partners.
- Establishes and maintains contacts with peers in partner organizations.
- Arranges activities with partners in support of joint sales engagement.
- Ensures resolution or escalates issues that arise through the pursuit of opportunities with partners.
- Stays current with partners strategies, direction and operations.
- Supports marketing efforts of partners in existing and potential customers.
- Mobilizes the appropriate partners to pursue specific opportunities.
- Extending help / Coordinating to Channel Partners and Sales team for any Legal DDQ related queries.
- Meets assigned AR collections in assigned territory- Monitors AR collections performance
Educational & Experience- Graduation / Post Graduation with 8-10 + years experience in similar industry.
- At least 5 + years in managing dealer / channel partners across regions in India.
- Experience in handling UV-Visible product line including microvolume UV-Visible spectrophotometer.
Skills & Knowledge: - Knowledge and understanding of UV-Visible product line
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Thorough understanding and experience of managing a tender business.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Knowledge/experience of Thermo Fisher products will be preferred.
