your life's best work.(sm)The Agile coach will be part of India TCO team and will work with specific LOB, ensure that the coaching approach, standards and alignment with the overall strategy is maintained and improved.
The Agile Coach will teach, mentor and coach individuals, teams, and leadership to understand and apply Agile and Lean values, principles, and practices effectively that brings the best out of them. The Agile Coach will also sustain and evolve the enterprise Ag**e@Op**m practice within the IT function, focusing on delivery of more IT projects/products using Agile methods and establishing an 'agile mindset' within the organization, not just within project teams, but in the wider stakeholder community. This requires leveraging existing processes and practices (including the Optum OSAM methods) and guiding the IT enterprise to a full best practice approach for Agile project delivery, DevOps, and related capabilities.
This will include helping with the strategies and activities necessary to expand and scale Ag**e@Op**m across the enterprise, and definition and adoption of DevOps ways of working in the organization. The Agile Coach will contribute to the Ag**e@*** Community, along with all the community's activities. This also includes discovering, assessing, and bringing emerging industry best practices to the organization, such as Kanban, LeSS, etc
Primary Responsibility:- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:- One or more of certifications such as PMI-ACP, CSP, PSM-II, CEC, SPC, ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF is a plus but quality of experience will supersede above any things else
- At least 5+ years experience in Enterprise wide Agile transformation
- Proven experience and track-record of delivering results using Lean Agile practices, within projects and ideally in different organizations. Significant industry exposure/knowledge
- Experience working as a part of Agile CoE and a key contributor
- Experience in implementing one or more Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe)
- Team player, works effectively in global/virtual environment and communicates well with all levels of organization (suppliers, business and IT)
- Driving initiatives that help increase Agile Mindset and embedding of Agile Practices across different Lines of Businesses within the organization
- Ability to create Coaching capabilities across different Lines of Business
- Ability to drive communities of practices that help enable sharing best practices across the organization
- Ability to measure the quality of Agile Adoption across the LOB and as well if needed at enterprise level
- Ability to define, build, test & improve Agile value delivery critical success factors & KPIs
- Ability to drive agility beyond IT teams that includes functional and business partners
- Thought leader in Agile and Lean practices and leverage various platforms like internal conferences/meetups/articles e.t.c.
- Ability to focus on maintaining consistencies of Agile practices across the organization and developing standards and guidelines
- Discovering, assessing, and bringing emerging industry best practices to the organization
- Best Practice expertise (incl. process, data & tooling integration) and ability to negotiate and influence with other key stakeholders within and beyond area of accountability
- Broad understanding of overall IT application/ infrastructure, processes, governance and supplier landscape
Preferred Qualification:- Proven experience in continuous improvement using techniques, like Lean, Kaizen, process maturity benchmarking
