MTS3 Position Summary VMware is the leading player in on-premises infrastructure. VMware's Cloud Strategy and the Cloud Platform Business Unit (CPBU) is focused on enabling a Multi-Cloud, Multi-Device World where seamless delivery of cloud services to end customers across a global network of homogeneous clouds and heterogeneous endpoints is a reality. With VMC on AWS we have delivered, SDDC to the cloud, now we want to deliver innovative cloud service to on-premises infrastructure that leverages our on-premises footprint. With the integration and the focus of Kubernetes with vSphere, we can build an IaaS layer which developers and partners can use to deliver value-added services to the multi-cloud. As part of that effort, we announce Project Arctic subscription service, that is part of VMware Cloud Universal program, empowering customers to upgrade their existing vSphere infrastructure to Arctic. Arctic enables customers to run their virtual machines and containers on their hardware, with VMware Cloud experience. With this VMware Cloud experience, customer's benefit with their vSphere infrastructure unlocked, to leverage all the VMware Cloud services. Arctic reduces customers operational costs, with VMware life cycling and updating the vCenter, and eliminating the time consuming on boarding experiences for VMware Cloud services. Arctic simplifies hybrid cloud by making customer's vSphere infrastructure to be hybrid cloud ready - making it easy for customers to move workloads between their vSphere infrastructure and VMC on AWS or other VCPP Partners. Job description vCenter Hybrid Cloud Services (India) team is seeking a passionate, strong engineer to participate in the design and implementation of the next generation vCenter product portfolio which will enable vSphere Cloud Subscription to provide customers with cloud like management and operations of their vCenter and vSphere, taking away the burden of lifecycle management of vCenter, making it highly available with VMware delivered and managed vCenter. As part of the offering, customers benefit with keyless license management and paying VMware or partners, based on usage. This enables customers to move their virtual machines between on-prem vSphere on Subscription and to Service Providers - in the process increasing or decreasing their usage of on-prem vSphere and paying based on what they use.
