About Process AnalyticsThermo Scientific Process Analytics business unit delivers best-in-class online analytical systems and control solutions for the Minerals and Mining industries along with Bulk measurement and weighing solutions. The equipment is manufactured at two of our main locations in Adelaide, Australia and in South Africa and we have over 150 installations of these systems in India in serving the Cement, Coal and Mineral industries.
Role description Lead and manage a team of ten senior service members to deliver field service to customers in the area of Process Analyzers and Bulk Material handling equipment.
Responsibilities1. Meet customers and maintain excellent relations with them and deliver good service experience with a customer centric approach. At least 25% travel to customer locations and offices is required.
2. Results oriented and deliver on service commercial targets in terms of booking, revenue, profitability and collections on a quarterly and annual basis by identifying service contract and spares business and prepare an executable plan to drive and achieve this through the team.
3. Deliver timely, proficient and quality services to customers by deploying available resources in an optimum manner. Use and follow the service backend processes and drive the service metrics like Response time, Downtime, first time fix, service punctuality and field service utilization as well as monitor and handle trunk stock and field service inventory levels.
4. Ensure that the team is equipped with the skill sets and required training to deliver their field responsibilities.
5. Coordinating with various functions within the country like Sales, Projects, Supply Chain and Finance and with the factories for commercial and technical matters to fulfill customer requirements for I&C, warranty and post warranty support.
Candidate Requirement: Education & Experience levels:- BE (Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical)
- 12 to 15 years of field experience in Industrial segment (Cement, Power, Metals & Minerals)
- Experience in building relations with customers and service commercial management
Skills:- Customer management in handling critical issues
- Interpersonal skills
- Good written and oral English communication
- Structured thought process and decision making
- Negotiation skills
Knowledge Required: - Commercial knowledge (Booking & revenue forecasting, pricing, profitability, collections and inventory)
- Knowledge about the Cement, Power and Minerals Industry, products and applications
- Data analysis and interpretation. Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Power point.
