Job Description
* Highlight Top / Key Responsibilities for this positionAs a Test Engineer, you will use your automation control system domain knowledge in validating our next generation Automation Controller product lines.Work in small, self-motivated teams collaborating with Product Owner to translate customer needs into Internet-enabled products and infrastructure. Break down problems and estimate time for development tasks, story points etc.Be involved in all phases of system test development from product definition to production release. Develop Test Strategy and derive Test Requirements from Product & System specificationsDesign optimal Test Systems and Automated Test Fixtures for ensuring adequate Test coverageUse your strong knowledge in PLC Ladder logic, DCS programming languages Ladder, FBD, Ethernet based Industrial protocols -MODBUS TCP, PROFINET IO, Ethercat,IEC61850, DNP3, IEC104 etc., Automation scripts in developing system level tests.Make technical presentations to peers and managers on the details of architecture, design, Technical risks etc.Use excellent communication skills to interface with Technical architects on complex technical issues, * Desired Educational QualificationBachelor s Degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or universityTechnical Skills / Knowledge Required Minimum of 3-4 years of experience with domain knowledge in Industrial automation and related products like Programmable controllers -PLCs, DCS, I/O modulesIndustrial Communication protocols like MODBUS TCP, PROFINET, ETHERCAT,IEC61850 Client and Server, IEC104 Client/Server, DNP3 Master/Slave, HMI/SCADA etc. Theoretical Exposure in curriculum for PLC systems, Ladder logic implementation.
