The Talent Acquisition Operations team is part of the Talent Services organization and responsible for providing timely and quality driven transactional and operational support to the recruiting process.
About the Role
This role is part of a Global Delivery team that provides support for U.S. and international HR processes, and key stakeholders will predominantly be U.S. HR business partners. This role reports to the Global Delivery leader for HR India and the Philippines.
Under general supervision with instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new lines of work, provides support in either a service center or human resource department environment.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of routine general human resources duties such as maintaining personnel records, compiling statistics and/or processing employment applications, insurance forms, and salary increases.
- May search employee files and furnish information to authorized persons.
- Assists employees on matters regarding personnel forms, records, and procedures.
- prepare input forms for automated data processing system.
- Utilizes the company's internal human resources information systems (HRIS) to perform duties.
- Requires working knowledge of company personnel policies and procedures in an assigned area.
- Answer questions and provide direction to Wells Fargo employees through written communications such as chat functionality, eForm support and email. The requests made by employees are related to questions or problems employees may have related to Wells Fargo benefit plans, payroll, policies, programs and on-line tools associated with human resources.
- HR Specialist uses traditional and online human resource systems to document transactional work and educate employees on human resource related topics.
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum Educational Qualification - B.Com & PG HR / MBA (HR) related discipline.
- 3+ years of clerical experience, customer service experience, or a combination of both.
- Basic Microsoft Office Skills to include: Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
- Ability to adhere to established attendance policies
- Demonstrated ability to work with leaders and employees at all levels and across functional lines
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all communication is accurate, well-written and in the right voice for the intended audience
- Strong prioritization and follow-up skills
- Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a strong ability to handle difficult employee inquiries
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills ability to identify, analyze and solve problems
- Ability to work in a complex matrix environment, encompassing a broad mix of cultures and client groups
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of some aspect of an HR function, and an understanding of HR policies and procedures
- Knowledge of HR systems (PeopleSoft, CP&D)
