We are seeking highly skilled and experienced full-stack developers who have a passion for building and automating security solutions. In this role, you will be building Cyber Security platform to provide one-stop security solution which would include automation modules such as Vulnerability Assessment, Security Auditing, Configuration Documentation, Real-time Threat Dashboard, Automatic Incident Response (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response SOAR), and Security Visibility. The role requires collaboration with the Global Security Operation Center (SOC), Threat Intelligence, and Forensics teams to define, develop, and integrate automation and orchestration capabilities into Cloud24x7s SecurityFIRST platform.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to work with a team which is responsible to build/enhance CyberSecurity platform
- Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
- Developing new highly-responsive, web-based user interface for CyberSecurity Platform
- Developing API-driven micro-services that combine into CyberSecurity platform
- Develop automation, processes, and tools designed to make our services simpler and more robust
- Support the delivery and contribute to maturing the Security Monitoring and Analytics automation strategy
- Work closely with the SOC team to identify, document, and implement use case requirements and playbooks for automation initiatives
- Build API integration for data enrichment across internal (e.g., CMDB, Active Directory) and external (e.g., VirusTotal, DomainTools) data sources
- Automate analysis, security testing, vulnerability discoveries, threat intelligence gathering and consuming threat feeds to track adversaries
- Document mapping and architecture between various integration points, document playbooks and actions they perform
- Work closely with service architect to map integrations and dependencies across security platforms (e.g., Firewall, Endpoints, Security Solutions), JIRA, and APIs
- Conduct training sessions on new playbooks and integration with operations personnel
- Ensure proper documentation is created and maintained
Skills/Experience
- 3 + years of software development experience
- Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline
- Experience programming with object-oriented and/or declarative languages (Java preferred)
- Experience developing REST Web Services
- Experience with developing multi-threaded services and applications
- Experience developing web-based solutions using HTML, CSS, Javascript frameworks (such as AngularJS, Ember.js, or equivalent), J2EE, JSP, Struts, JSF, JSON, and Bootstrap
- Experience working with XML technologies (XSL, XQuery, XPath)
- Experience using modern software configuration management tools in an automated build environment such as Nexus and Git
- Strong proficiency in Java, and Linux
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving ability and time management skills
- Familiarity with microservices and cloud integration across platforms
- Familiarity with ElasticSearch and an understanding of ElasticSearch Query DSL
- Demonstrated experience building automation tools, scripts, and automation of web services
- Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the service line and function goals
