Job Description Summary
As a Sr Software Developer Testing , you will be responsible for planning, automation and execution of verification cycles of software solutions. In this role, you will be part of Digital group focusing on advanced technology developments for IOT Connectivity, Visualization and Edge , Tele ICU & Big Data solutions for Life Care Solutions Business in GE Healthcare. You will also be leading software quality engineering discussions and mentoring of other junior quality engineers.

Responsibilities:
In this role you will,
In this role you will, Collaborate with product owner and architect to understand requirements and user stories
Part of the agile scrum team, participate in the BDD automation of user stories, in sprint software testing, quality metrics adherence. Accountable for the Definition of Done for user stories.
Prepare verification plan, execution tracker, regression analysis, verification documents for the NPIs Ensure test coverage and automation code quality and maintainability
Develops new procedures and drives continual improvement of the testing process at the team level through participation in Test Workgroup and Community of Practice.
Raise defects for product non-conformance. Report out defects in products & design. Verify defects once fixed.
Prepare test plans, setup required for test execution and demonstrates ability to analyze test results
Accountable for adherence to QMS procedures and deliverable, defect leakage targets and process improvements in collaboration.
Coach and mentor junior SDET engineers.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in 'STEM' Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in software testing
A minimum of 5 + years of hands on experience in Behavior Driven Development automation of backend services (Behavior Driven Development / Jbehave / Cucumber / Java / REST)
Desired Skills:
Exposure to IAAS , PAAS & SAAS automation pipelines
Expertise in one or more scripting languages, working knowledge of Linux.
Proficient in functioning in an Agile team
Working knowledge of Containers & Virtualization Technologies including Dockers and Kubernetes.
Working knowledge of technologies used for Continuous Integration/Continuous Development & Continuous Testing.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
Ability to work with global teams, including time-zone flexibility Working knowledge in configuration management and defect management tools (ALM/Rally/ClearQuest)
Experience in Healthcare domain
