You are the senior technical talent, who loves solving problems and enjoys learning new technologies. You have 15+ years of experience in end to end product development from the requirement, design, development, test automation, and solving business needs/issues. You are best in what you do, quality-focused, energetic, bring a positive/can-do attitude, independent but collaborative, and are a great team player who takes pride in solving multiple complex problems and making difficult goals, possible.
If you have Cloud platform development experience in a virtualized environment ((AWS, Azure/GCP - KVM, Hyper-V, Xen) with exposure to high performing networking devices, we would love to speak to you.
Position Overview
You would be a member of the technology leadership team, whose track record of superior performance, technical vision, expertise, and leadership is instrumental in developing and driving products and standards for Citrix. You would develop long-reaching objectives for technological advancement, utilizing technical expertise in applied research, product development, and process development works closely with Citrix technology and executive leaders and industry peers to provide expert consultation on broad, complex problems that require outstanding theoretical and practical experience in technical fields makes significant contributions to company objectives directly affecting competitiveness and leadership in the industry takes responsibility when problems or opportunities are identified, and initiates actions that result in high-quality solutions is perceived to be the technical leader by others and widely looked to for guidance and direction, and represents a dynamic force that motivates and coordinates the organization to accomplish its objectives.
The right candidate for this role excels in both outbound leadership (evangelism, leveraged communication, and executive influence) and inbound leadership (innovating, solving hard technical problems hands-on-keyboard, and rapidly learning and evaluating new technologies).
Role Responsibilities
. Lead from front to solve complex problems
. You will be responsible for development in virtualized environments in public and private clouds and drive end to end solution for Citrix ADC on public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private clouds.
. You will be driving technical planning after understanding requirements, translating them into design/development items, and be exceptional in execution
. You should have the ability to work across various engineering, product management, sales, account teams seamlessly and bring everyone together to solve business problems
. You will understand customer's business goals and translate into deployment architecture and able to identify road map and gaps and translate them into Engineering requirements
. Compelling contributions to a technology area through new technology developments and research
. Key Influencer in the new product or service development and demonstrated experience launching in collaboration with business or partner
. Proven expertise developing complex systems from architecture to implementation
. Proven ability to lead globally diverse teams with little to no supervision
. You will be developing solution and debugging/fixing bugs in existing exceptionally complex products
. Development experience in Agile, test-driven development is a plus
Basic Qualifications
. You should have a minimum of 15+ year's relevant experience to the role
. BE/BS/MS/MTech in Engineering
. Experience in Networking and Virtualization
. Hands-on Architecture/Design/Development experience Cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, GCP, and OnPrem hypervisors like ESX, Xen, HyperV
. Technical depth and 5+ years of recent experience in drivers, C, exceptionally strong OS concepts, Linux/FreeBSD, and cloud networking technologies
Hands-on experience in XaaS is plus (SaaS, IaaS, etc)What you're looking for:
