Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for CAD design of Automotive plastic components considering functional, tooling and production requirements
Responsible for ensuring quality and meeting the timeline requirements of the project
Need to develop tools/macros for automation in CATIA environment

Qualifications and Experience

B.E., B.Tech., M.E., M.Tech. in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering

Expert in Catia V5

Must have good understanding of plastic part design methodology
Must have relevant experience in design of exterior and interior parts like Bumper, Pillar trims, Door Trims, Consoles, spoiler etc.
Must have relevant experience in Master Sections and Concept creation for various parts
Should have knowledge and understanding of Tooling and manufacturing processes
Should have understanding of DFM & DFA
Must have knowledge of relevant vehicle safety regulations across the globe
Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills
Knowledge on CATIA automation would be preferred

Notice Period- 15 to 30 days Max
