Primary Responsibilities:
- Automation the test scenarios and execution of the scripts
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Development implementation
- Acceptance Test driven development - collaborate with business/scrum masters/business/Dev to accelerate agile process with 100% automation
- Performance automation, besides functional and regression automation of cases
- Analyze and dissect business requirements and technical specifications to create, execute test cases and do the impact analysis of new business requirements affecting any previous requirements
- Participate in business requirement walkthrough with the business team for quality assurance
- Train the test data mining tool to the resources
- Automation the test scenarios and execution of the scripts
- Preparation of Test Scenarios and Test cases and Execution of the same
- Maintain test cases and test data in Application Life Cycle Management
- Preparation of Requirement Traceability Matrix, ensuring every Business requirement is being tested with 100% traceability
- Performing System and Integration Testing to ensure all the components integrated in the system are working as per the business requirements
- Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects
- Communicate and interact with onshore counter parts with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality
- Promote and build SME level expertise through knowledge sharing, understanding of the business, project flow and underlying domain
- Build, maintain and strengthen relationship with business stakeholders, leadership and team.
- Comply with the testing standards & guidelines
- Working to implement reusable tools and Workflow documents to assist team members to accomplish bug free & timely delivery of Quality product.
- Implementing Test Optimization techniques like Risk Based Testing (RBT).
- Conduct the Knowledge sharing sessions, document the ideas to improve the quality of the application, articulate the solutions and take it to business for implementation.
- Work in Scrum team in agile methodologies
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Btech/MCA degree with a preferred focus in Computer Science
- Experience in handling the Automation Delivery for multiple parallel projects
- Experience on Mobile Automation
- Experience in Performance automation and LeanFT tool
- Strong Experience in API (Soap/Rest services) automation
- Experience of using Rally
- Experience developing and executing automated test scripts for requirement validation, integration, regression, performance and usability testing
- Experience in creating SQL scripts
- Experience with change management and defect tracking tools
- Strong programming background (Java Script, VBScript, with hands on experience with test automation tool such as LeanFt and Selenium
- Strong knowledge on Acceptance Test Driven Development, to accelerate agile process
- Well versed with Devops - Continuous Integration/Continuous Development implementation
- Ability to lead testing activities and recommend process improvement opportunities
- Readiness to learn and implement new processes and Tools
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage business relationships
- Should have working knowledge on Agile methodologies
