Job Description
Responsibilities:. Create, analyse and update algorithms and data elements that support metrics/ methods that are used in insights within OA Products
. Present prospective methods to methodology governance group for review
. Write technical specifications for methods to share with engineering development teams and functional specifications to be accessed by internal consumers (client services reps, client documentation writers, product team members, etc)
Must Haves:. Education: Bachelor's Degree in technical field OR equivalent work experience
. 5-8years of relevant professional work experience in Healthcare data analysis using SQL/Spark SQL.
. Ability to identify and document data anomalies and to collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective resolution
. Strong organization skills, very detail oriented, with careful attention to work processes
. Ability to work creatively and flexibility, both independently and as part of a team.
. Analytical, curious and problem solver
Even Better:. A Bachelors/Master's degree in Mathematics/Statistics/biostatistics with strong emphasis in mathematics and analytic methods
. Technical experience with Scala, Git, JIRA (or other ticketing tools), R or other statistical packages, Hadoop
. Analytic experience - statistics, predictive and prescriptive modelling
. Content knowledge - Population health metrics, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) reporting requirements, other clinical guidelines and measures.
. Data Experience with Payer claims and member eligibility data, and/or working with EMR data
