As a member of our Software Automation Test Engineering team, you will dive head-first into creating test automation frameworks to assess functionality and quality of the solution. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. You'll work in a collaborative, trusting, thought-provoking environment-one that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally. And best of all, you'll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- Experience in independently writing and managing automation test cases for the project.
- Good knowledge and experience in automated testing frameworks/tools such asSelenium, Cucumber etc.
- Knowledge and experience on API automation tools such as Karate or Rest-Assured is preferred but not a must.
- Should possess good functional, integration, regression and system testing skills.
- Good knowledge of java, databases and sql's.
- Good understanding of issue management and bug tracking tool like JIRA.
- Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
- Good communication and ability to interact with different stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test cases to validate all stated requirements.
- Enhance automated frameworks to assess functionality, regressionand quality of the product/application.
- Track defects and work closely with development teams to validate deliverables and expected behavior.
- Coordinate with business to ensure user expectations and quality standards are met.
- Review functional requirements and product specifications and provide feedback.
- Communicate identified issues and defects to all stakeholders.
