Amazon is seeking a Area Manager - Quality for LPC/CC
In this role, your responsibilities will be to:
. Devise mechanisms to measure every element that impacts quality of inventory specially fruits and vegetable category in LPC & CC operations, and drive improvement initiatives to benchmark against external benchmark.
. Study the competition best practices on FnV & perishable ASIN quality and draw and execute plans to achieve the desired outcomes.
. Work on development of standard operating procedures, and continually tweak them with time to improve produce quality leading to improvement in experience for customers.
. Own in-spirit deployment of all quality related SOPs, for entire LPC/CC network.
. Map business requirements, understand business process, study and analyze workflows, design solutions and prepare quality related specifications.
. Be data driven, develop and report quality performance metrics, executive updates and analysis to identify potential opportunities for improving Customer Experience.
. Design, develop, pilot & rollout enterprise wide programs around IB quality, transformation and stoving processes, inventory health audits etc.
. Study customer feedback related regularly to address defects which causes escalations.
. Implement formal process controls and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizens.
. Collaborate with 3P and Amazon Ops/Business team to plan & execute various improvement mechanism and monitor the progress of same.
Basic Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
. Completed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Logistics, or similar field from an accredited university.
. 4-5 years relevant work experience in a top tier company driving programs or projects. Operations Management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution environment is a plus.
. Project management experience-how to organize, find solutions and follow through to a successful conclusion.
. Proficiency in written and oral communications able to produce concise, relevant, strategically-driven documents and presentations to leaders.
. Demonstrated analytical skills in complex situations.
. Basic/Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques preferred. Excel skills required.

. Completed Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Research or similar field from an accredited university.
. Ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity.
. Ability to take a complex problem and break it down to smaller digestible chunks.
. Ability to define a logical and step by step approach to achieving a lofty goal.
. Comfortable with processes and process design/analysis.
. Have the ability to influence without authority and do so by using data and facts.
. Ability to deal with varied stakeholders and earn their trust.
